Though our tips are directed towards artists using Cupick, they can be useful to artists everywhere on any similar platform.

It’s a tried and tested formula. Follow more people and the chances of them following you back increase. Following users is a very rewarding process, so keep exploring Cupick and following people regularly to boost your own following.
2. COMPLETE YOUR PROFILE
Write an interesting bio. Add links to your social media handles or personal website. Give your artworks thoughtful or eye catching titles.Use your account to make a connection with the viewer. An often overlooked feature and underutilized resource in this regard, is the little artwork description space. You can use it to provide some insight into your artwork or the process of creating it or write anything that gives the viewer an essence of you.
3. ADD NEW ARTWORKS REGULARLY
Work out a schedule to post your art. Post artworks once a week or once a fortnight at a specific time. Let your followers know when you post new artworks through your bio on Cupick.
4. SHARE YOUR WORK + SHARE THEIR WORK
We’ve enabled features to help you reach out to audiences beyond Cupick. Share your profile and share your own art as you upload. Share works by other artists and you may just get the followers you’re looking for.
5. DIRECT YOUR EXISTING FOLLOWERS TO YOUR CUPICK ACCOUNT
If you have any existing social media accounts, direct your followers to your Cupick account by sharing a link to your profile. You may often find viewers looking to purchase your work, and it really helps to have a visible store link.
If you do not have a social media account, consider creating at least one. We suggest using Instagram as it is completely image-oriented and you will find thousands of users looking for very something very specific.
6. OPEN AN INSTAGRAM ACCOUNT
If there’s one social media handle artists should be using, it’s Instagram. It is an excellent choice to promote yourself and your art and get followers to your store. Post your art regularly and use appropriate tags to help users find you. Engagement with users is much higher on Instagram than Facebook or Twitter.
Instagram is also a safe choice for artists worried about copyright violations and plagiarism. Images on Instagram are not downloadable from the app or the website.
